I grew up on the shores of Lake Darling, near Alexandria, Minnesota.

I have fond memories of the sport!

And I performed my share of these "free-style" moves!

I began this post. And than I began to think about somersaults.

'Wondered how long it has been.

So I found the softest floor covering we have in our house and gave it a try.

I seriously didn't know how to start.

And as a kid, we did it all the time, without thinking about it at all.

'Sometimes several in a row! 

It wasn't pretty.

But I did it.

And I'll probably be a little stiff tomorrow.

But I did it!

I thought I could.
