Earth Snail

[approximate size: 7"x 5"x 3"]

The author of the book I'm reading, Noah Scalin, today suggested I use clay in a way I never have before.

This was a challenge!

I use clay A LOT . . . but mostly rolling, pressing, texturing, and pinching.

Earth snail was created by first carving into a large mound of clay and removing the unwanted mass. Thus, a fresh approach for me!
