Carving

Day 84
Challenge   Use a bar of soap.

Ivory Snail

Early on, Ivory Snail lost the top of his head. This mishap resulted in a redesign.
[I had to think: What would Michelangelo do?]

Here is an interesting site on sculpting with stone:

Memory: My grandfather was an artist, carving wood to create tiny boxes, small animals, and impressive lengths of chain. When he visited us he would make us whistles from willow branches!
